Nathan did the landscaping on our garden and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. We had a rough idea of what we wanted but weren't sure how to get there, and he took that and ran with it, adding his own suggestions along the way that genuinely made it better than what we'd pictured.

Our garden used to be bland and honestly pretty unusable. Now it actually suits how we want to live and spend time out there. The attention to detail is brilliant and the workmanship is top quality. He kept us in the loop the whole way through too, which we really appreciated.

A major landscaping job last winter – levelling a steep rear garden, 30m of new retaining wall, redesigning and re-laying tired patio, complete new front garden, new paths, new hard standing, new lawns back and front.  Nathan and Paul – what an absolutely fantastic team.  Made light of problems, reviewed design and options as it progressed, re-used existing materials, worked through some ghastly weather, under a gazebo when necessary, always a step ahead, always cheerful, all completed on schedule. J & R Landscapes completed a major garden project for us and we are thrilled with the results.  Their workmanship is second to none.  The Nathan and the team are lovely to have around and dealt with our major access issues with ease.  We were so happy with the results that we extended the project to almost three times the original plan and it is stunning. Paul and Nathan did an outstanding job replacing our rotten decking. From the first consultation, through the job and after - they always made sure everything was as we wanted and made excellent recommendations on everything from the stone slabs to the best balustrade. We had our old paving/patio removed and replaced with new paving stones.  We cannot fault J&R Landscapes' work.  Their attention to detail was second to none as well as being great guys to work with. We had a wall rebuilt  with local Kendal stone, and new fencing and gate at the same time, Nathan and his team were incredibly clean and tidy whilst working , they did a fantastic job in our garden , we are really pleased with the standard of work . Nathan kept in touch in timescales and designs ...couldn't ask for any more....pricing was really competitive too ...the quality of what we got was well worth it.

We've since recommended to family and have seen how good a job he's done there too .....
